Details of position
We are looking for CELTA qualified teachers with a C2 level of proficiency for full or part-time employment at IH Guayaquil, to teach a mix of face-to-face and online classes.
You will mostly teach General English (A1-C1) and exam preparation (B1- C1) classes to adults, and some General English classes to young learners (8-18) as necessary.
As a member of our teaching team, you will be offered many professional growth opportunities, including becoming a mentor for new arrivals, being trained as a speaking examiner, completing your DELTA or moving into teacher training.
Qualifications
Minimum:
CELTA-qualified
1 year experience post-CELTA
C2 level of English
Digital literacy and the ability to deliver student-centred classes online
Desirable:
One or more DELTA modules
Experience teaching a wide variety of levels and classes
International experience is an advantage
Interest in teacher training is a plus
